Rules Clarifications + some typos I found

Hey there survivalists, with six months out from launch and a big influx of new folks getting the game through bundles this past Free RPG Day, I want to take some time and point out some rules clarifications and a few typos that slipped past the editor and I.

  1. Automatic Success (Page 5): The Automatic Success rule applies to all tests: including both Ability Saves and Actions.
  2. Template Typos (Page 16): Insectivore should be understood to mean that the animal may substitute Body with Hand or Eye when making physical attacks. For instance a Brawl test could be made with Hand+Eye instead of Hand+Body. This ability does not allow you to roll Hand+Hand. Quilled should be understood to mean that the attacker takes damage equal to the animal's body, not the attacker's.
  3. Sympathetic Environments (Page 23): A sympathetic Environment counts as a normal sympathy. An unsympathetic environment is defined as an Environment where both of the highest Environmental Abilities are opposed to the working's sympathies: An Environment high in Fury & Grief is unsympathetic to a working that is Cold & Wet. If the same working were cast in an Environment high in Fury & Anticipation, or Serenity & Grief, the environment would be considered neither sympathetic nor unsympathetic, and would not modify the TN of the working.
  4. Blessing of the Sky Hunter (Page 25): The successful ritual should be understood to grant a number of circumstance dice equal to the number of successes you rolled (i.e., your "Control") on the final part of the working. Oh and it should say "Working" rather than "Spell."
  5. A note on meals: Meals can be split up and grant their effects to multiple people or be consumed multiple times by a single person. Meal effects do not stack. Splitting up a Meal is as easy as splitting up its total Vigor count.
  6. White Beer (Page 31): FAIL is a misprint. White Beer should read: "When you make a test and achieve a single level of success (1 success), you may make the same roll a second time... etc."

Don't be afraid to comment any other small issues you find in the course of play. Games are living things, after all.
